History

Craig Carey, born 1/1/47, is a self taught woodworker who creates fancifully painted neo-folk objects such as chests, tables, benches, lamps, boxes, and mirrors (spawned by late night TV. and bad food) which are useful as well as decorative.

Along with his daughter, Madeline, they truck out into the marshes to gather willow for mirrors, collect discarded Christmas trees for lamps and chandeliers and pick alleys for scrap lumber: all to put a smile on customers faces. Nothing is bought; everything is handmade.

He has been creating art for over 35 years.

They currently live in La Porte, IN.
